Privacy Policy
Nsort is a notification manager that works entirely on your phone.
1. What Nsort accesses
With your permission, Nsort reads incoming notifications through Android's Notification Listener Service so it can sort, filter, mute, or save them according to rules you create. Nsort does not request SMS, contacts, location, microphone, or camera permissions, and never reads your SMS store directly.
2. Everything stays on your device
All sorting and filtering happens locally, on-device. Nsort declares no internet permission, has no user accounts, and sends no analytics or telemetry anywhere. Your notification content physically cannot leave your phone through this app.
3. How alerts are stored
Alerts you keep are saved in an encrypted on-device vault and are automatically deleted after your chosen retention period (30 days by default, adjustable in Settings). Clearing history removes them immediately. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
4. One-time codes (OTPs)
On Android 15 and newer, the operating system hides verification codes from third-party apps for your protection. Nsort still saves the alert and shows it in your inbox so you never lose it — tap it to view the code in the original app. Nsort never uploads, shares, or reads aloud your codes.
5. Device permissions used
- Notification access (required): to sort and filter alerts.
- Show notifications (optional): lets silenced alerts reappear quietly and emergency breakthroughs sound.
